Our journey began with a desire to dispel common misconceptions surrounding the Nadar community by offering well-researched, evidence-based articles grounded in anthropological studies. For the last few decades, Tamil epigraphers, archaeologists, and historians have worked to uncover documents and artifacts—such as palm-leaf manuscripts, copper plates, and stone inscriptions—that shed light on the Sanrors, the forebears of the contemporary Nadar community, and their significant role in the Tamil realm.
